After he loses his family in a plane crash, the once lively and sarcastic, John Colman, turns quiet and reclusive. Having nowhere to turn, John is offered a room in his aunt and uncle's home in Bristol. His younger cousin's goofy and shameless best friend, Myah Wallace--who is now all grown up--begins to spark his interest. Nevertheless, he puts no effort into making a move and sticks to remaining her friend. Beneath her cheeky and carefree exterior, Myah begins to notice a war brewing in the heart of her home. In an attempt to escape the family hostility, she seeks momentary refuge under the roof her best friend, Keith's place, every now and then. Myah notices the change in Keith's older cousin, John, after the death of his family. He has certainly grown up since the last time she saw him; she can't help but try to close the distance between them and bring his old self back. Only if he lets her. He is her deterioration; she is his remedy. (The cover and graphics [EXCEPT gifs] are mine <3)
