RPG Level 100: Romance

Life already sucked for sixteen year old AJ, aka Allie Johnson, when her parents recently divorced. Now, life sucks even more when she had to move to a whole new school and place with her workaholic father, not long after her Sophmore year and following the accident that killed her mother and grandmother alike. However, things seemed to turn up for her when she managed to find a friend group almost right away and a boyfriend a little after. She seemed to climb up the social ladder near instantly, and it should seem like a dream. Yet, even though he was as perfect and as sweet as can be and she even found friends, none of it seemed authentic and made her feel as though she were in a bubble she couldn't pop.

Her one true love at the end of the day, was a secret kept from everyone: gaming.

On her seventeenth birthday, AJ's father gifted her an RPG that was on clearance which was more than enough for her before he had to attend something important, leaving her to play the game all day and make a special friend online who went under the alias "X"- someone AJ could be her true self around with no consequences. As they continue to bond and get closer, she soon finds out that "X" is someone who attends her school, but never seemed to openly show themselves. Wanting to get to the bottom of it, AJ hopes to uncover the truth and learn to be true to herself.
