As a young child, Ashlyn was abducted from a local park whilst playing with her twin and older brother.

For 10 years, Ashlyn survived with no more than a roof over her head. She dealt with the repercussions of living with alcoholics and drug addicts for carers, until the police show up at her doorstep.

A few days of research was all it took to find Ashlyn's mother, helping her to be reunited with her family. Only, she wasn't going back home to live with her mum, her five brothers and stepfather are there too.

Ashlyn has to learn to live her life in a new environment, whilst dealing with the anxiety and trauma consequent of years of abuse. Her family, which were once not a part of her life, quickly become her everything.

Playing Poker [BEING REWRITTEN]

31 parts Complete

Everyone in life is dealt a hand of cards. The player can't control if they are dealt a good or bad hand but the player can control the outcome if they play their cards right. A bad hand doesn't automatically mean you lose, it just makes the game harder to play. This story isn't about cards. Rayland was dealt a bad hand. She always had the support of her loving family until her mother and brother left when she was nine. Her life was never the same. One day, she gets into a car accident which leaves her father dead and her losing most of her memory. She gets placed with her aunt and abusive boyfriend. When her aunt gets married, she finds out she has 6 step-cousins. Will her bad hand be enough to win the game or was she doomed to fail? Trigger Warning: Includes Self-Harm, Drugs, Abuse, Language, etc (The self-harm portion of the story is not to the protagonist.)
