She got bullied a lot for her quirk in the past. Kids mocked her and said that her quirk was useless. The more Y/n thought about it, the more it occured to her: she had no purpose. She had no use in this world.

Then she saw All Might.

He went out of his way to save people and make sure they were okay, despite anything that anyone said. He was always there for people. Y/n decided that she wanted to be a hero, even though the other kids laughed in her face about it. Y/n hoped that one day she could become a hero and save many lives.

And maybe even prove to herself that she isn't as useless and powerless as she thinks.
