I'm weak and broken, tormented by monsters that keep reaching for me, touching my body, hurting me, living marks on my skin and soul. I don't know how it feels to sleep without waking up in the middle of the night sweating, incapable of defending myself, too afraid to scream for help. Until I meet him. He is strong enough to cast away the nightmares, to fight my demons scaring them away, to erase my scars with his tender touch. Now I have him, my beautiful warrior, my soulmate, my leelen. We might not have met like normal people would, but again we are not normal and we are definitely not people.
