All I could hear was shots coming from a distance and a few people's shrill screams. I closed my eyes and wished as hard as I could that this would be over. I didn't want this to be happening. Not now. Its the aftermath of the shooting that left 5 dead. injured 3 others, and left a whole community in pieces. What will Lena do when she finds out her brother might be the shooter? will she find the peace she's is looking for? or will she buckle under the pressure. follow Lena in a journey of saddens, memories and self discovery as she tries to come to terms with what happened that fateful day.

I had to admit, he was cute. His eyes sparkled nervously and his lips were a lovely shade of natural red. But for Trey, he intended for Laurel to be his last. Trey is heartbroken when Laurel leaves the Centre and moves away from town, never to see him again. Laurel has runaway from her foster parents, changed her name and even the colour of her hair. She's created a whole new persona for herself and never wants to revisit the past, but what happens when the most unlikely thing happens? What happens when Trey moves in just around the corner?
