Angels and demons exist. Lucifer is still a good guy. And the lines between good and evil are not meant to cross. She's different. The color of her wings are unnatural and strange. Because of that, she's shunned. But she still tries to be the best angel she can be. With her own hint of rebellion of course. He's set to become an archangel, and won't allow even the smallest bend in the rules. When sent sent to earth, the two are about to learn a lot of things. Everyone does. She learns the truth of her existence. He learns that being a good leader doesn't mean being his brother. The angels learn that different isn't so bad. The demons learn that Heaven has been keeping secrets. And along the way, falling in love is inevitable. Heaven and Hell are about to collide on Earth.

I hadn't thought it would be this way. That I would end up in a place like this. That I would end up in... Hell.

A government run by a murderous King and a thief ready for crime does not mix. If you drink, you're dead. If you steal, you're dead. If you have fun, you're dead. Jack is a thief who doesn't know when to stop. Lyla is the sister of an alcoholic. When Jack finds himself in a new city, he realizes that he made a horrible mistake. The King is a killer who murders the citizens for any sort of disorderly behavior. No one has ever seen the King, and for Jack and Lyla, they have no chance to survive.

It is just a story. You can do whatever you want with it. Read it, keep looking, or tuck it away in the back of your mind. I'm not telling you what to do. But you never know you could like it.
