Our land was dying, and our people with it. I looked out onto the raging sea, feeling the wind push me from behind. As if beckoning me out into the frigid water. Out away from this place. 

Our people were strong, but only could survive for a while longer. The magic sucked from our land, only left in a scarce few. Our crops have refused to grow, and the cold has yet to relent. I stared out into the raging sea, looking for something to save us. Little did I know that it would come in a form, none of us were prepared for.
