One night has the power to change your life forever. Susan Alvarez was made all too aware of this fact the night the Songbird chose her family.
"Songbird" was the name given to the serial killer that terrorized the West Coast for nearly two decades. The Songbird claimed more than forty lives, including Susan's entire family, before they dropped off the map.
It's been fourteen years since Susan lost her family and she is still trying to pick up the pieces when her best friend Tabitha comes back to town. Susan's momentary joy is quickly stifled when the news hits that police have made a connection between a recent spate of murders and the work of the Songbird.
Susan may have been too young to stop him then, but she is determined to catch the person responsible for destroying her world.

Do you like to go camping? Have you ever wondered what it felt like to finally get something on your bucket-list fullfilled? Well, my friends, you're in for a treat. Milissa and her younger sister, Alexandra have made up a plan. After a simple walk off of the trails at the Southtown campgrounds, She and Alexandra have found the perfect place to overnight; a secret cabin that no one else has ever found before. After talking about it at school, Alexandra, Milissa, and a few of their friends have decided to go together and stay overnight. But during the night, an escaped patient from the nearby insane asylum will force them to think if it was really worth camping at Southtown. (11,778 Words long with more sequels coming soon.)
