The solar system is fractured into two superpowers. The megacorporation, Outer Wilds Charter (OWC) and the defacto Earth governing body, the Inner SOL Conglomerate (ISC). The tension between the two political and economic rivals is tense and diplomatic relations were days away from breaking down. War is already visible at the horizon and it was only a matter of time before it turned into a full-blown interplanetary battle. Caught in this deadly crossfire is a handful of fleet academy students based in orbit of Saturn's largest moon, Titan. Completely green and still wet around the ears, the students were about to receive their first practical lessons in the art of starship jousting... A strange-looking contraption is seen rapidly falling from the sky. Its descent was calculated and precise...until it wasn't. Halfway after entering the green and blue planet's atmosphere, it started burning up, rendering some of its parts unusable. Inside this burning contraption are a bunch of...kids. These kids numbered a hundred, have ages ranging from 12 to 17. And as for why they are all strapped inside this burning 90-year-old dropship heading to the ground...Well, it all started at the end. Ninety-seven years ago, a nuclear apocalypse struck the Earth, leaving the planet simmering in radiation. But of course, the human race was a stubborn one. At the time of the bombs, twelve nations had operational space stations that they used to house survivors. Later, these twelve stations banded up and merged, becoming the one we now know as The Ark. For many years now, The Ark has kept what's left of humanity alive. But about a year ago, an engineer discovered a huge problem in the Ark's system. The Ark's life support systems are failing, and it won't be long before they run out of air and die. Hence, the current situation. These kids are being sent on a desperate mission to see if the ground is survivable again. But why kids though? Won't it be better to have the more capable scientists or guards be the ones to take this risk? The council had a lot of reasons, but the main one being: these kids were expendable, after all, they are criminals. --- This is a The 100 Fanfiction. The MC is a reincarnator. Yeah, I know. It might as well be a self-insert fic at just how much I relate my MCs to myself. Anyway... This story has been picking up dust in the corner of my WIPs. It's time to let it see the light of day. It's been so long since I started this fic, hence I will have to revisit the deepest part of my head to remember how I wanted this story to go in the first place. Updates will be few and inconsistent. 43àd à5 6974 92ñ 48ßk.
