Helen Stevens is a PFC with the United States Army. The Chinese have declared war on America, and using an ingenious strategy, have somehow invaded from within. Since the preemptive strike, the communist forces have taken most of Latin America, the southwestern states, southern California, and most of Colorado. The Rocky Mountains have halted the Chinese advancement west, but nobody knows how long that would last. Denver has been holding out against the siege, but they wouldn't last long, and the Army knew it. Stevens was handpicked out of her outfit in Cheyenne, WY to infiltrate Denver, recover some key assets, and assassinate a political enemy. But as Stevens makes her way south, she learns more and more about her target, about herself, and about her past. Soon, she will ultimately make a decision of following her orders, or following her heart.
