At the young age of 5, Annabelle develops an imaginary friend. She continued to believe for many years. She never stopped believing. Soon, her family and friends started to see that her friend wasn't so imaginary at all.

Linda was 11 years old, she scared a ghost, and she was scared to speak to Amy and Janice. Annabelle was 7 years old, and she was the daughter of Mullins. However, she died in an accident when she saw something on the road and became a spirit to haunted a child like Janice and Amy.
