The Chosen One

Achakari is a warrior in Pre-Colombian America who, when he sees his first European, mistakes him for a being from another planet. He meets up with Cabeza de Vaca, a spaniard, and Esteban, an African, who are real historic figures and the first people from the old world to cross North America. Achakari is amazed to see a Spanish Galleon and horses for the first time and even after meeting a band of slavers, still believes that he has been visited by extra-terrestrials. This is a short story so it's exactly that: SHORT.
