Originally written as part of "Deck The Halls With Brand New Stories: Ho Ho Holiday Anthology" (a Holiday-themed Anthology of Short Stories by Wattpad's Paid Stories Writers), this heart-warming story tells the tale of Patrick, a long-time Christmas fanatic who is spending Christmas alone and suddenly finding it hard to drum up his holiday spirit. That is, until he has a chance encounter with a young boy in the grocery store, suddenly putting everything into perspective by way of a Candy Cane.
