Hey everyone!
For over a decade I have dreamed of writing an adult pokemon novel. I wrote something long, long ago and it was honestly awful. Since then I've read a lot! I'm currently inspired by the great Brandon Sanderson and pretty much read almost every book in his arsenal and really tried to take in the level of detail in exposition and story arch as well as character development. I've tried to apply his rules of magic to this story. I've been slowly creating and weaving together the origins, science, motivations and plot to one of my favorite anime/games growing up.
I've always thought the concept of pokemon had incredible potential for an immersive mature story filled with crushing realism, beautiful twists, and hardcore action. I want to make the story where the origins of pokemon could be intertwined with the plot rather than the plot revolving around a world already filled with pokemon. The impact of these fascinating other worldly species mingling with humans on earth would change the world overnight.
This book will take place following our beloved Ashe Ketchum though instead of being a ten year old boy on a journey around the world to catch em all, would be an adult with a strong bond to his companion, pikachu, who we all know and love. A story where they are both responsible for protecting each other. I aim to answer many, many...many unanswered questions, but with my own road map for how the journey comes to fruition. This novel however also follows Professor Samuel Oak. Oak has always been so important and it is my plan to see that he gets credit where credit is due.
All this said I start this during the time of the original pokemon and the number of species will grow to that iconic one hundred and fifty-one as the series progresses. I haven't read the already existing young adult series in order to keep my ideas fresh and as close to an original Ashe as I can make a story people already know and love.

Ash's Alternate Journey: Kanto Indigo League
There is alot of alternate universes of Ash even Smarter Ash AUs. This time this Ash does not want to become Pokemon Master (or lacks of the motivation to become one) instead just travels around the world and catch more Pokemon than his anime canon. He starts off his journey in the Kanto region, He will earn 8 Badges around Kanto region and oh right Team Rocket attempting to take over world, Don't worry he can handle them Also It's my first Pokemon fanfic and yeah it's kinda bad but I'm trying, Also there is some references in the story like random memes, video game and etc. Also I don't own everything only there respective owners, I only own my OCs.Complete
Road to Master
Ash Ketchum in another dimension: Lonely and bottled up... A mashup of Ash and Alain together. With a Pikachu and a team of strong of Pokemon help Ash reach his goal of trying to become a Pokemon Master... Unless Ash's father can stop it. When the story gets plot heavy after the seventh gym, Ash has to deal with his father and more internal conflicts that haunt him, like his connection to a certain blue frog. Ash takes on his first journey through Kalos stronger than ever before aiming to be the top! Serena, a performer that has had feelings for Ash ever since they met at summer camp in Pallet Town a long time ago, reunites with him and helps him take in a crisis in Lumiose City that involves mind controlled Pokemon. Now having to try and get Ash to be himself to be ready for the Kalos League causes her emotional pain and sometimes even physical. Ash has to find himself during his journey in order to be able to take on everything in his way, from his best friend Calem to his Arch Rival Damian... To even his own father. Half Ash and half Alain in the character of Ash Ketchum, there will be a good combination between battle styles and a good amount of combinations between overall personality and maturity. Ash is a teenager by the way! Will Ash win the league? Or because this being his first journey will he fall in the way? Amourshipping is the main ship of this fanfiction by the way! Rated everyone, but be warned for violence and some strong language (usually will have a star in the bad word) and some depictions of blood as well. (tell me if the rating should be bumped up to mature, I am still confused about the guidelines and what counts as what). Serena just reunited with Ash for the first time a few years after their goodbyes in Kalos. Yet, it was only for a brief moment and the two must go back to pursuing their dreams but with each other fresh on their minds. Will they reunite again? Will Serena finally admit her true feelings to Ash? Does Ash even know what love is? About: This is of course an amourshipping story and is an expansion of Ash and Serena's reunion in episode 105 of Pokemon Journeys. After Leaving everything back in Kalos, Ash worries about the decisions he had made that day. " I regret Everything" He always says to himself. Ash has tried over and over to just forget those memories yet they always come back. He had forgotten about those memories, until one Pokemon League changed it all. (This is a story about amourshipping. It will Have events different from the actual anime but they will be very similar. For context, ash will be 11 in the beginning of the story and so will Serena.
