Kara goes to college, has a part-time job at a coffee place, and does magic to try to help bring her brother back from the dead. 

Her life is pretty normal until she stumbles across a bit of magic online that changes her, literally. With this magic, she also ends up with a magical partner, named Dane. Dane appears as a fox and tries to help her when he can.  Along with her new friend, Ryan, who quickly finds out the other half of her life, can she still get her brother back? And how much is she willing to risk?
