During the year 2019, an unknown strain of influenza ravages the world. Nicknamed StrainK, over the course of four years it depletes the earth's human population drastically. As the death toll climbed fewer people added to society and soon the economy collapsed. Several years after the pandemic the East Coast meets its end. Destroyed by the meltdowns of nuclear power plants, explosions, and chemical fires. These disasters shredded our atmosphere, the amounts of radiation trigger the advancement of global warming. Over time Earth adapts and produces a new climate; with traveling heat waves, radiated plants and animals, and desserts in places that were once fruitful. Earthquakes cause massive tsunamis flooding the outer states, making them extremely harsh conditions to live in. But with the collapse of the old world, came a new one.
Now the year is 2090, the world and its survivors have adapted. In WestWorld the survivors are controlled by a selfish Chief of State, and bit by bit the government turns totalitarian. The sovereign and his council are cracking down on the people, people like Jessie and her father. After an accident at the farm, Jessie is forced out of her home. An adventure fueled by revenge, and filled with a horde of obstacles. All the while surviving hostile lands, pig headed men, and the possibility of a second apocalypse... Sounds simple right?

Once Bitten
The dead do not sleep. The dead do not eat. The dead most certainly do not laugh. And the dead do not cry. 6 years have passed since nuclear war broke out, destroying the planet and killing most of the world's population. Different geographical regions have been affected differently, the climate mutating and transforming people into horrific monsters of all kinds. Now humanity must fight to survive amongst literal zombies, vampires, and horrific fungal spores capable of reducing even the strongest to nothing. Emily lives with a small, ragtag group of survivors, her friends before the outbreak occurred. When one of them falls ill, in dire need of medicine, the group is forced to travel to the hospital across town, where they discover something, or rather someone unexpected. Mark was a normal person before the outbreak, before he was bitten by his own father, before everything went to hell in a handbasket. Now he lives under the hospital with his trusty cat Buckwheat, hiding from the daylight and wondering why him, out of all the infected, has to "live" with the curse of sanity after his demise. It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. At that exact moment her window smashed and something flew into her room. It was a flock of them; they attracted the house and only took one thing: the girl. She remembers it clearly, the way she screamed scared out of her mind. The way it grabbed her waist and took off. She remembers screaming for help but no one came to her rescue. Oh how she wishes that she left her safety knife in her room. Then they would be safe. Her family! She just hopes they were fine, but the conclusion that she was taken says that her family would be back to normal soon. She sighs and thinks over her life. From a little kid she was always the loner. But her family loved her to death. It all changed when she turned ten. The world was changing. She remembers the exact day at the exact time. Her birthday; she calls it the hell day. Something bad always happens on her birthday and that year was the worst so far. On February 20/2020 at exactly 2:20 On the news they had let out the horrible announcement. Scientist's experiments had gone wrong. They call them the "Stone Devils". They were escaping from the labs and into our world. Made of stone and all male. Winged creatures that come into the night. She's saved by a native who dislikes humans as much as the next guy but shes intent on sticking by his side in order to survive. Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.

It's been five years since the plague struck. Leah knows there are other survivors, but she's avoiding them. She is doing just fine on her own. Surviving after everyone she knew died has made her physically strong and honed her intelligence, but she is emotionally devastated. He believes in the small town they have populated and its mission to save humanity from extinction. He and his small team of men find scattered people and bring them in. Women's equality with men is over. There are just too few of them. They aren't lesser but greater, more important, more valuable than men. Men are expendable. Men can stay outside alone if they like, but all women must be brought inside the safety of the Colony and properly taken care of. James has been searching the area Leah lives in. Her time of solitude is up. Leah sparks something in James he's never felt before. He's not letting this one get away, certainly not twice. Stoke is Full of Mutants
In a world ravaged by nuclear war, our heroes grow up in a Tesco Extra known only as the Ark. Scavengers, these hideously brave young men and women search for food, supplies and artefacts. Their people rely on them as much as they fear them. The barren wastelands of Stoke are swarming with marauding slavers, flesh-eating cannibals and sick abominations too abhorrent to describe. Yes, it's fair to say Stoke was pretty much unchanged by the nuclear holocaust that decimated Britain. Starring a fantastical cast of characters of stunning originality and imagination: Gramslinger - badass mind reader; Flora - beautiful and deadly; Steve Rogers - no, not that one, he just has the same name as him; and Craig - he's a cat but he's all man; as well two not as good characters that aren't important right now. A tale as old as time that is set in the future but also is kind of just the present day. It's such a thrill-ride that none of it makes sense, but by gum you'll certainly agree that it is written semi-competently and doesn't infringe too blatantly on any copyrighted works, so it's actually quite good by Wattpad standards. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll maybe get slightly aroused at one point, and then once you've finished doing all that you'll sit down and read this story I wrote. Enjoy.Concluída
