Draugr was what they called them. They were dangerous, rotting corpses that were capable of spreading a disease to mortals that would turn them into draugr in due time. As a way of helping the humans, the gods began to bestow gifts on humans that they deemed worthy enough of their blessing. In return, all the gods asked for was undying faith from the humans. Vale Ravna was a hunter amongst Blessed Ones. A weather boy was what he was. Though he had no blessing himself, he thought he could find the cure for the draugr infection. With the help of his fellow hunter friends and a flirtatious stranger who claimed to have no blessing, Vale set off on a journey farther than he had ever ventured before.
