The Deviant and the Doctor: Bonds Broken

Werewolf prose from my werewolf series, Apex Haven.

Sterling is a Dissident terrorist from the "Ever-grey" (play on the word "Ever-green") clan of the Coniferous forest biome that borders the northwestern end of the Temperate Deciduous forest territories in the Apex Haven continent. He is a falsely self-proclaimed Ya'khortan (YAH-CORE-TON) restoration leader, having been brought up on Xenophobia and Imperial Era ideology, Sterling carried a circumstantial chip on his shoulder from a confusing and corruptive childhood.
He had a good bad blood streak until he underestimated a former She-wolf doctor at the wrong--or right-- time and is bested by her to his shock. Awaiting the death penalty for his murders, he learns this random She-wolf's insistence is more than skin deep. They're intimate.
This stand alone story loosely relates to "The Rogue's Prince Pup's"
