Aella Stone has been a part of the avatar program for seven years. But she's not a real avatar driver. She's the reason that the scientists know so much. Because of her lack of ability to speak, and permission from her scientist parents, she was the guinea pig for experiments. Grace Augustine had no idea, until Aella had a run in with Jake. She joins their team and Jake has his heart set on finding out why she can't speak, and why the Na'vi are so interested in her.
