Many say that the ocean is a pirate's only true friend; that a pirate shouldn't put trust in anyone but. The ocean and a pirate's soul is connected with a bond far stronger than a bond between blood or between fruitful ethos.
And yet, even the ocean seemed to stab him in the back such as much of everyone else.
A troublesome pirate quartermaster sometimes with too much wit and not enough worry who carries flaws heavier than a sack of stolen. He traded all his luck in for lust without batting and eye.
Once a rebellious siren whose tricks were impenetrable now resigns in the life of maturity for simpler and less tedious days. To this day his physical impairment issues struggles in ensuring those around him of his worth and independence.

(( This story is indeed slowburn for the romance aspect of it all, but don't worry, smut will come much sooner ;) I'm hoping for an equal balance of angst, fluff, smut, and comedy relief so the story isn't 24/7 serious uwu. Hope you enjoy it! ))
