Panic. That's the only thing on people's minds. The will to escape and get to safety. Panic for their loved ones and themselves. The world had ended, a toxic fog coated the outside world and the rest of the human population had gone underground to survive. Nothing could have survived the poisonous gas, but humans still prospered and survived. Life was good, but then there was the attack. One that shattered the fragile world that the survivors had created. Humans never expected anything living to survive on the ground, but whatever was out there, wanted inside the base. The creatures were violent, unrelenting, and had the desire to kill. They could survive on the outside, but they ran out of a food source. Guess humans are next on the list. This story is a fight for life, tragedy, thriller, drama filled whirlwind of emotion. Jasmine and Derek are newlyweds who fight for one another, and try to outsmart these creatures that are killing their friends. As these creatures attack the base, they must rely on one another to fix the damage.

(Deal with this really bad cover please. It's temporary.) One night, Derek Garcia was having the night of his life. The next day, everything went to hell. The Deads- flesh eating monstrosities- cut him off from a safe zone and separated him from his friends. After the death of the only friend that he considered family, Derek manages to survive on his own for a while before meeting a girl named Star. From there, he's thrown into a new community with new people and his number one rule gets thrown out the window when new bonds are formed. These things....they're Dead But Not Gone.
