Dragon User Dante Shephard and human Trinity Bonnet are destined mates but Dante knows nothing about it and has bullied Trinity for the last five years. But when vampires attack him and his friends it is revealed that Trinity is not the strange human they once thought but instead the Queen of all Mysticals. Now as Dante is feeling the bond they share, Trinity has to deal with rogue vampires and protecting the Safehaven, an Island she created for Mysticals who want to live in peace.

But when an organization called Emerald comes into the picture things get even more challenging. How will these two mates survive while still figuring out if between them is love or not.
