The sickness can be seen from his face, half of his white skull was a little bit darker than the rest. Gaster and Papyrus had no idea what kind of illness Sans has, but they decided to take care of him no matter what, hoping that the sickness will soon gone either because of the medicines Gaster gave him, or disappears itself. Well, Gaster ends up spending more and more time with her. As a result, both of them gain an entirely new perspective of the other, they aren't just another monster in a lab coat anymore. Hey!
