Depression is a funny thing. It comes when you least expect it, when you're content with everything that's going on in your life. Maia Faers knows this better than anyone else. She's just another one of those poor souls who was plucked out of her regular life and plunged into one of longing and despair, determined to get out but not knowing where to turn next. She's built her walls thick, keeping her emotions locked in a box separate from herself so there's no way for her to let them leak out.
