While out on a routine scouting mission, the Autobots stumble upon a small and fiercely guarded energon mine. Afterwords, Optimus discovers himself in a state where he can't reach out to his fellow Autobots, and finds that the only hope he has may just be a certain Predacon with a sworn allegiance to Megatron and the warlord himself.
