Violet's been living in loneliness for the past three years being stuck with a broken heart with her daughter being her only comfort. While being sent on a mission for resources, she rescues a stranger who turns out to be her closest childhood best friend before she left for Ericson's. They start reforming their friendship after all these years in a community with their feelings starting to turn something more for one another. She then learns many truths about the community and her family being met with a vicious rival community in their midst to claim her friend in their grasp. With this, Violet and her friend will do anything to protect each other from harm. She could finally be happy again with her old best friend back in her life and maybe even something more.
