This is the introduction to my upcoming novel MALI. The story follows the life and trials of a young Somali Canadian boy named Abdirazak in Toronto. Growing up in a housing projects in Toronto without a father to guide him , Abdi now finds himself in a perilous situation. Is he just another criminal who is deserving of punishment, or is there more to him than meets the eye ?
