Just a sad dream or a reappearing nightmare? What really is depression. Just being sad and crying in the corner. It maybe one face of it but I believe that's not it. To be able to understand it, one must go through it. But this is an observation made by a person who has not experienced it by themselves. I believe some of you might have went through this pain. If you have won over it, Congratulations YOU DID GREAT!! But if you are still fighting, please don't give up. If you think no body is with you, that's not the case. Earth has a lot of people, someone is going through same thing as you, you have someone to relate to. The one that can get you out of this is you. Engage yourself into activities, it will be hard but eventually help you. Don't let this become the better half. Because if you get attached to it, it will be hard to let go. You would feel empty. So help yourself, but don't forget. We are with you and asking for help for someone who knows how to help you is never wrong. Thank you! . . I DO NOT know what depression is like( never been through it and don't want to either) but recently I feel like every other individual is potentially depressed. So I thought to pen down what I think it is. I know for a fact it is deadly. Don't just say that you are depressed for fun you then you should question yourself about it. People who actually suffered from depression have cured themselves by positive thinking and helping each other. Try it (cause why not) and get out of it's clutches. Life's too short to be wasted on it. Anyways I hope you like the rest of it. - @divija_maheshwari ]

People say it will get better. But to be fair, most of them never were in your place. They say you will get happy again, but how can they know? I've struggled with trauma, mental illnesses, and self harm for many years. These are (mostly) poems - about me and my journey of getting better. ! As this is about self harm and other previously mentioned topics, it might be triggering. I don't glorify it in any way, though. I'm also not a native English speaker. If you find any mistakes, please tell me so I can improve.
