"The baggage she's carrying will soon break her back."
~

He wiped away my tears and tugged me to his arms. Our eyes locked and it was as if I fell into his blue and green pools.

"One day you'll tell me the dark secret I'm positive you're hiding..."
I looked at him astonished.

"W-what secret?"

His thumb softly stroked my cheek I was surprised I let him do this...

"The secret that makes your eyes dim and makes you look so damn broken..." He mumbles as he looks at me softly.

But then he looked determined. "I'm going to fix it though, even if you don't want me to."

My chest clenched and I shook my head as tears blurred my vision.

He couldn't know. He just couldn't.

Lacy is determined to start her new life, get passed her sickening past that she so badly wants to forget, with her young daughter, and finish her last year of HighSchool with no interferences.

{Highest Rank In Romance: #20- 18 April 2017} "Th-this isn't allowed..." I mutter at the ground, blushing insanely, and not daring to meet his eyes. "Do you think I care?" he scoffs, and scans the dark, empty back hall for students, though nobody ever comes here. "Why are you scared of me?" he notices I won't make eye contact, and lays a finger on the bottom of my chin, lifting my head up to look at him. He's gorgeous, but extremely intimidating... "I'm-I'm not..." I choke out. He slams me up against the wall suddenly, at the exact moment one of the faulty lights above us flickers, and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding. He presses his lips to my neck lightly, and I let out a soft moan, as much as I try to resist. He smirks at the effect he has on me, and runs his fingers down my side, pinning my wrist against the wall with his other hand. He sucks on my neck, and I bite back another moan, but fail, resulting in it being louder than the last. If we're caught, I'll get expelled! I have nowhere else to go! "If I took you back to my place, right now, " he whispers in my ear, and I feel his hot breath on my cheek, sending a chill down my spine. "How long do you think it'll take, before the neighbours know my name?" ________________ Ariana Robinson is a nineteen year-old orphan, who lost her whole family in a house fire, which she happened to be away from at the time, so she was raised in an orphanage. Maya has spent five dreadful months in the psychiatric hospital recovering. One she finally is released she is forced back into her boring life. But will things really be so boring still when she meets 'bad-boy' Noah Dalton? He is annoying, rude and always around Maya for reasons she can't understand. Maya is brave, yet also afraid that her choices could lead her spiralling back into a bad place again. Will Noah be able to save her from herself? Or will he be the cause of her destruction? ---------------------------- ~Noah's pov~ 'These,' I slowly run my finger across one of her scars, 'are fucking beautiful.' Before she can object, I carry on. 'Maya you are beautiful beyond perfection. You are strong. You are brave. You are funny. You are sweet. You are incredible. Look at yourself,' I nod down towards the scars on her arm and she slowly glances down at them before meeting my gaze again, 'those scars are beautiful. Do you know why?' I ask her. She wipes a tear from her already tear-stricken face before she shakes her head. 'Because every time you decided to do that to yourself, you didn't go further, you didn't end your life. You decided to carry on living even when you thought you couldn't manage it. Those scars right there,' I gesture to them again, 'show the battles you won against yourself. They are your battle-scars and you shouldn't be ashamed of them. And you know what? I am so proud of you for making it to where you are today because you are a fighter and If I can see that, anyone can.'

His lips trail down my neck, sending shivers all over. "I love looking at you," he breathes, brushing the hair off my shoulders. "Will you let me look at you?" My heart hammers, a wild thing seeking his. "Yes." So he does. And I feel it. For a long moment, I just feel his eyes. Then, his hands. They skim down my spine, bowing my body into his. When his lips find my throat, I lean back into his hands, my eyes closing. He kisses between my breasts, then across them, taking my nipples into his mouth, swirling his tongue, sucking, and kissing, always kissing. I gasp lightly, my fingers curling into his hair. His response is a smile against my skin. He explores the expanse of my chest, my stomach, my shoulders. He pulls my arms out to kiss them, all the way to my wrists...all the way back. He presses affection into my skin, injects trust into my veins. Then he eases me to my back and does it all over again. ******* An obscure tutoring opportunity brings Camila closer to three friends: Noah, Jed, and Fox. Adrien Rayne suffered through the worst school break imaginable, once he returned home he is hoping to be able to quietly put it in the back of his mind and carry on with school, though that turns out harder than he thought when he discovers the girl who turned his break into hell had moved to his school. And he knew her dark secret. Maura and Adrien spend the last half of their senior school year battling darkness from both their present and past. What makes it difficult is when they merge into one. It becomes even harder when the two have an undoubted sexual connection that they can't ignore no matter how hard they try, even when they know how wrong they are for each other. • • • Suddenly there was a large tug on the back of my head, someone had yanked my ponytail. I spun around as much as I could, their grip was strong on my hair. I saw my brown hair in a tight grip, I trailed my eyes up a male's tattooed arm towards a pair of dark grey eyes, his eyelids were red and puffy, as if he had been crying, or he was high. His face was set in a glare, his dark hair, messy, as if all he had done to get ready was shake his head around. It was the guy, Adrien, who was separated from Riley's group. He was tall. I was average height, maybe even slightly above average but Adrien towered over me, I had to look up at him. "What fucking right do you have to come to his school." Adrien snarled. He knew. I didn't know him though. • • • warnings: mature themes and violence, drug abuse, mentions of overdose, mentions of sexual assault
