After Lucy and Natsu had just confessed their love for each other. Lucy finds out that her parents pass away in a fatal car accident. A week later after being taken in by the Dragneel family, on Natsu's thirteenth birthday, Lucy's sister Michelle comes to take Lucy home with her to Paris to live with her and her husband.
Lucy stays in Paris, only keeping in touch with one friend during her four years there. On her sixteenth birthday, Lucy finally moves back to Magnolia. With Natsu heavy on her mind, she gets a job and begins attending the same high school as Natsu.
What happens when they get assigned to be partners on a school project after not speaking for four long years? And finding out she just happens to have gotten a job at the same place Natsu works?
Will their love blossom as quickly as when they were twelve? Or will they never be meant to be with each other ever again.
