[BOOK 1 OF TWO HEARTS TRILOGY]
I'm just a simple girl with a heart condition, waiting for the day I can leave this world. I grew up without friends and felt like I wasn't a normal teenager because of my illness, missing out on experiences and knowledge about so many things in life.
When I arrived in Yellowstone, a place and home for people with heart conditions, my life took a different turn.
In that place, I discovered what it feels like to have true friends. It was where I experienced immense joy, laughter that echoed, and engaged in activities I never thought I could do. It was also where I cried wholeheartedly, felt pain repeatedly, and most importantly, learned to love.
To love someone I never imagined would bring such great and beautiful changes to my life, the extraordinary man who made me feel a love unlike anything I had ever experienced before.
The only man who made my heart beat.

I dunno if I'm still a human, I dunno if may LOVE ba kong nararamdaman actually WALA kahit sa mga magulang ko wala kong nararamdaman na pagmamahal o anuman basta nabubuhay ako na mag-isa.. So painfully lonely. At wala ka nang magagawa because you're stuck; trapped in this suffocating, dimly lit room where breathing becomes a struggle. That's how it feels to be lonely, to be alone.
