Following a post-apocolyptic world, the human race has been separated. Those who are governed are living in Alluvium. Those who were affected by the virus are called The Excluded, they live outside of the fences and no one has heard from them in over ten years. The virus causes a mutation in the eye causing them to appear as a clear blue. Whereas all those living before had brown eyes. Brown eyes represented their love and devotion to the Earth and the government believe those with the virus wished to break free of their control and destroy the Earth.

The story follows a girl, Emilia, who yearns to know what freedom feels like and often wonders on the lives of The Excluded. That is until her life-long friend Samantha contracts the virus and is quickly arrested, but is there more going on inside the walls of The Chancellor's office? Emilia tries to free Samantha, but before she can she comes across a rebel group of The Excluded and finds out they're planning to overthrow the carefully constructed government and take back the Earth. But who is Nate and why is he so cute?

Join Emilia as she fights to save the Earth and perhaps fall in love along the way. Read along as she saves her friends and the ones she loves, and what's this about a long lost father?

Clackers by Arundel2000
5 parts Complete
There is nothing as powerful in life as your first love. When this happens after clacking to a strange new world where people reverse age-let's say it's complicated. Demalynn is a seventeen-year-old girl from a small town who one day hears a loud 'clack' and is transported to the planet Saffire. Naked. Then things really get weird. No child has ever been born on Saffire; clackers make up the entire population. All people who clack under thirty reverse age: each year they grow younger. As an awkward teenager plagued by panic attacks who dabbles in comedy, Demalynn just wants to go home to be re-united with her family. Citizens over thirty grow old and are forced to mine the mineral that powers giant cooling stations to keep the planet habitable. Citizens solve disputes with gladiatorial combat. The prophesy of The Coming In Saffire's time of greatest need, a child will be born to a special woman, the Gravidarum. The child, who has no father of this planet, will be known as the Unum, a child to lead Saffire. The Helper will battle to keep the Gravidarum safe until the Unum is born. The people of Saffire have been waiting to see The Coming fulfilled. Demalynn assembles a group of clackers to get her home, the most important of which is a fellow clacker: eighteen-year-old Aiden. It is not long before Jago, the ruler of Saffire, learns that a woman on Saffire is pregnant and he unleashes all his power to prevent the birth. Jago will not give up power. Demalynn is surprised to find out she is the Helper, but is astounded to learn the identity of the Gravidarum. Demalynn must battle to stay alive and fumbles towards the realization that Aiden is much more than a close friend. She is certain, with the certainty that only a seventeen-year-old can possess, that Aiden is her only true love. Demalynn is desperate to find a way back home until she must make a choice: stay with Aiden on Saffire or go back home and re-unite her family. There's no place like home.
Verde by stardust-y

Cassidy Wilson is an Immune. No, she is more than that - she is a Verde. A gene sequence common in those with green eyes keeps her safe from the Pulse, a virus released in the US at the turn of the century - the next century, that is. Cassidy's special advantage, paired with her wit and physical abilities, have brought her into the world of the Verdes - the special police force of Quarantine, keeping in check the crime that comes when everyone's days are numbered. As Cassidy trains to lay down her life in order for the people of her continent to die in peace, she uncovers the past of the Pulse, and through it, her own past. But can she handle it? AN: This is a product of NaNoWriMor (National Novel Writing Month) so it's not going to be perfect, and it is completely unedited. There might be some parts that I change in previous chapters as I decide that I need more details to support an event that happens in a later chapter. There might be parts that seem a bit wordy - that's probably me just trying to reach my word count goal (is that cheating?). There might be parts that just seem plain unnecessary - that's me writing a scene, and then not wanting to delete something I spent so much effort on. There might be parts that seem emotionless, or not very well written - that's me powering through writers block. There might be scenes that take the story nowhere - that's because I'm a 'pantser' as NaNoWriMo has so kindly tagged me. I don't plan anything out, except for a very rough plot line. That being said - ALL HATE WELCOME!
