Peter Parker has grown into a sheltered state after the trauma of Tony's death. Mr. Stark and Mr. Rogers were his two final attempts of letting father figures into his life, but now they were both gone. He grew into Tony's shoes and they fit like a glove. After being given EDITH he made an oath to do nothing but better the company and the people, just like everything he looked up to them for. He couldn't let his guard down, nor could he open his gates to his vulnerability to anyone else anymore.
Then Wade annoyingly waltzed into his life, trying to crack his case. He made efforts to wake Peter up, to help him see the joy in life again. Though all his efforts were thrown out the window after a horrible accident, causing Peter to forget he ever existed.

They wanted to find a way to get to the Avengers, to get to Tony, and they found it. ***** In the aftermath of Civil War, the Accords have been sorted out, but the Avengers are far from mended. Their issues must be pushed aside, however, when Peter Parker, who has until then kept his real identity a secret, arrives at Stark Tower to tell Tony that May is missing. It will take the whole team to figure out what Hydra has planned, but they are nowhere near prepared for what they will find. PS: I promise the writing does get better!
