"Please tell me you were thinking clearly! you know what the news said and you ran out of the house on purpose? What's wrong with you? Are you insane!?!" "Yes, I heard what the news said. Yes, I was thinking clearly, and yes, I am insane." "Because I did it On Purpose." An outcast since birth, Jackie Blake struggles to fit into any category set by the cliques of high school. He doesn't fit in with the jocks, the smarties, the stoners, or the pops. Jackie is getting tired of the bullies and the slurs, the fights and the dissatisfaction seen on everyone's faces afterward. So if Jackie can't fit into the social norms of not just high school, but society itself, he'll just have to have the ruling. Throughout the history of Brakepid, there has always been a story. One of fear and pain, hatred and sadness. One of destruction. Jackie sets out on his quest to find this myth, this legend and take whatever is waiting for him. Jackie thinks he's ready but when he encounters creatures that no one could have imagined, how will he rise above it all?

"Life is like a sketchbook. There's a beginning and an end. When you start, your drawings will start simple but become more detailed over time. Some are filled with color while some are black and white. Some were easy to create while others took more hard work. Some pages were bent and scribbled while others have been torn out completely, never to be seen again. Some people appreciate your art while others tend to criticize. Your sketchbook is your life. The question is.. What art will you create?" Jayda Joseph lives in a very strict household of Christians.
