After your father's disappearance and what many assume death, you are sent to the Survey Corps.
This meant leaving behind your job with the king as a royal medic and soldier, you now were under the watch of a very cold and emotionally distant Captain.
Promising to fulfil the promise he made to your father, Levi does whatever it takes to protect you. However you are a very independent woman and thus hated being told what to do. Thus sprung the fighting snd hatred between each other however feelings get in the way and fears begin to rise.
(This is my first x reader ever and honestly I've never watched AOT so im sorry if I get anything wrong. This story was a dare from a friend and she picked a random anime which is AOT. So hopefully I don't mess up and if I do let me know)

Or maybe you both are in adult relationships and that's just how things are in real life? Also you are equal to Levi here. You're not his soldier, so no salutes and penalties. Levi has practically no power over you. And it drives him craaazyyy I know many of you think that dating Levi Ackerman would be the best thing in life but I honestly think that it would come with many-many complications. Well, sure, he's a complicated man. Also, very toxic. Furthermore, dear reader, you will encounter such people as Commander Hanji and Armin Arlert, of course. This is the first time I've written a story like this, however I feel that I should explain some plot points since I did try to stick as close to the anime canon as possible but there are a few things I'd like to clear up first. This story starts at the fall of Wall Maria from your perspective as a young girl who lived in the Shiganshina district, I'll leave the age unspecified if I can but at the end she will definitely be over 18 years old.
