Sadie is a 19-year-old girl, enjoying her sophomore year of college with her best friend, Max. Everything is perfect in her world: she has a great family, friends and a cute little 2-year-old golden doodle named Fitzgerald, Fitz for short.
One day, she gets a call from an adoption agency saying that her birth family wants to get in touch with her and she has to decide if she wants to meet them, or close her case for good, allowing no contact. With this on her mind, her "now" life is growing hectic awaiting her decision.
Will she say yes and meet her birth family who gave her up as a baby, or will she say no and go the rest of her life the way she has been, contactless?

Life has reinvented the definition of rock bottom so many times for twenty-six-year-old Sadie Blake. When her parents divorced she received a new stepfather, countless bruises and a major aversion to alcohol. With her stepfather she inherited a depressed mother, new siblings and a reckless stepsister. With her stepsister, an abandoned baby nephew and a lifetime of responsibility... Responsibility has never frightened Sadie. For so long it's been all she's known, thrown into situations outside her control and forced to just find a way to make it work. But the kind of responsibility and obligation Sadie has had to endure in her young life isn't sustainable for anyone, let alone a vulnerable teenage girl just trying to keep her family safe; and the repressed memories and overwhelming darkness lingering always in the back of her mind grow more menacing by the day, begging to be seen and felt, and threatening to consume her altogether. Through enlisting the help of a therapist, Sadie realises her list of regrets is a lot more comprehensive than she first thought, and topping that list are two very different but equally important people - Ruben Foster and Camden Jones - neither of which she has seen in over a decade, but who she comes to learn will be key to her positively moving forward in life with her eleven-year-old nephew. But the process of trudging through their respective shared pasts is proving a lot more challenging than she anticipated...

(FINISHED WRITING, BEING REVISED!) An only child, by the name of Nathaniel, has a very unfortunate life. Unpopular, bullied, and outcasted by everyone at school; even his own parents didn't want him! He's miserable... At least that was until his eighteenth birthday where he has the most bizarre encounter. A break-in at his own home from an organization that holds a secret from the entire world! Now, he attempts to find his life's purpose, coming across many friends as well as enemies, many obstacles, great pain, deep love, and important life lessons. It's up to him to decide whether or not he's the one in control of his own life. !!!CAUTION!!! IF YOU ARE ONE TO READ BOOKS BY THE LAST CHAPTER TO SEE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, CHAPTERS TOWARD THE END OF THIS BOOK CONTAIN HUGE SPOILERS THAT MAY RUIN OR ALTER THE DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND ENJOYMENT AND IF YOU STILL WISH TO READ THE LAST CHAPTER I SUGGEST CHAPTER 53! Info of my writing style and this book: • This book is written from the first-person point of view. Everything he thinks about; everything you read, will be the exact moment of everything that's happening. When Nathaniel gets cut off and interrupted, his thoughts will be interrupted as well. • I'll put seven periods to indicate a change in the scene; to show that time has passed since the last scene. • Bolded names are important characters to Nathaniel and the story • This book contains vulgar and sometimes erotic descriptive language. • This book is targeted toward a young adult audience.

**This story was written when i was younger so it most likely has a lot of grammar errors.** Amelia doesn't have a fairytale kind of life. She has to deal with things that twenty-year-olds shouldn't even have to deal with. When she was eight, she got put into an orphanage, and let me tell you, its not a very nice one. After moving from home to home several different times, two people adopt her. Will she finally have the life that she's always wanted? Will she be happy again?
