Alex Stambler and his friends are hanging out at his house while his parents are on vacation. But little do they know that everything isn't as what it seems, as they start to realize that they have traveled to another dimension where everyone on Earth has vanished. All I can hear is the loud ring of silence. It's broken only once a day, when a small portion meal comes through a slot that is immediately sealed after. It's dark. Nothing but black. I lost count of the days at 127. I don't know where I am, I've only heard one thing. I overheard them say, "The North field was over ran, it's complete chaos over there. These will take an extensive amount of time to get to." I can only assume she meant me when she said "These." ----- I was fourteen. I hadn't even shifted into my Wolf yet. Our Pack house was invaded by... them. I don't know who they are, I don't know what they want. All I can conclude is that, I guess, we're being used for something. Although I hate the silence, I dread the day that that large silver chamber door will open. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
