Albus Potter was a boy the whole wizarding world knew. He was the child of the Great Harry Potter, and he received the glory and respect for anything he ever did, simply because of who his father was. He wants none of it, but that doesn't mean those around him share his views.
Jane Gibbs was a girl born in a small village of Scotland. She had practically grown up on her own, as her mother does not care about her all that much since her father left their lives. She has never received any glory in her life, but that has made her wish for it at all times.
With her going at Hogwarts, she attempts to find the glory she knows she deserves, and her first opportunity to do so is by befriending the son of the hero of the wizarding world, Harry Potter. However, her attempts fail as Albus is quite the suspicious guy. She keeps being persistent though, and after some years, her attempt to befriend him does work out.
Just not in the way she had been meaning to.

The universe belongs to JK Rowling, any characters not mentioned in the books belong to me, as does the plot.
