In the Heart of Gotham
Marinette's life is left in the hands of a manipulative green eye'd serpent; her friends, her family, and her crush leaving her to deal with it on her own. Not being able to handle the snake without being used by the well-known magical terrorist, she put herself on the back burner and lets her life be decided by her duties as Ladybug. She doesn't let her emotions show, she doesn't even allow herself to feel. Damian Wayne is described as many things; skillful, smart, terrifying, angry, blunt, dangerous, and so on. He is not a man you approach to make friends with, he is not a man willing to willingly hang out with people, and he is not a man of idle conversation. He doesn't have the time to talk and make friends, after all he is Robin, one of the protectors of Gotham, and a trained assassin. Although, with his families growing concerns on his lack of friends he is forced out of the mantle of Robin. Now he has to make a ' change' he has to make a ' friend' and when a blue-eyed girl- who seems to have no problem making friend's- come into his life he decides that she will be his friend as she seem's to be the only one adequate enough.
