Harmonized Freedoms
Eliora May, a lifetime citizen of Maplemaw, is something many women are not. Literate. An activist. But these become hard to complete as all is stripped away from her with the coming of unexpected news. Marriage and war between the faeires and elves of Ilkaphene. A land of magic, where flowers and fungi grow as tall as their castles. Where forest creatures live in harmony. A land of peace. A land where a fairy married an elf. A fairy princess marrying an elf princess at that. Eliora begins to hear rumors of the war. How it was destroying an ethereal land. And, worst of all, how women were being silenced to prevent more "corruption". As the war and its standards begin to seep into Elvangmort, changing Eliora's home into one of constrictions, hushed whispers, and worst of all, a hatred toward women, she knows that she must do something to save her freedom and the freedoms of those around her. *** This is my submission for ONC 2025! The Villainess is Back for Vengeance on the Empire
Our female lead, Norah, had a horrible life. She was abused and abandoned at a young age. She was never loved by those who were to be her family (except for her grandparents). She was engaged to the crown prince, Ryan, but was let down by him multiple times. When sent to war, she thought she would have him upon return, but he was already married to her younger sister. To make matters worse, she was sent to prison for treason. The day of her execution, her younger sister, Ramona, visited her. She came to mock Norah for being gullible and reveal that she and the crown prince conspired against her. To hear all this, the little will that was left of her was gone, and she was filled with rage and sadness. When brought to the guillotine, she shouted her curses to the whole empire and imperial family. The blade fell, and she took her last breath, but that doesn't mean her story ends there. By a miracle, she regressed to her 17-year-old self. Now she plans to get revenge on the empire and destroy it beyond measure. She has to be calculating as every move she makes change the future she once knew, but her need for vengeance will not be quenched, until everything is burned beneath her feet.
Dragon Princess || Aegon II Targaryen
To some, she was just another princess who was kind, generous and had ethereal beauty. To the smallfolk, she was a dream and too good to share blood with the fuckers who rule Westeros and disgraced their lives. To Aegon, she was the love of his life. But the truth was Rhaenys Targaryen was the embodiment of the fire of Old Valyria. Gifted by the Old Gods of Valyria, Rhaenys possessed a unique bond with dragons. In fact, by the age of three and ten, she had already bonded with two dragons, a hacthling and others to come. Some whispered that she couldn't be burned, while others believed she couldn't bear children like any other woman. Some believe she was the embodiment of dragons herself. But neither Old or New Gods could predict or protect her from becoming one of the most significant players in the Dance of Dragons, the demise of dragons.
