*EDITED VERSION* Natalie never planned on changing-or falling in love-ever again. But when she meets Ashley, everything begins to shift. At the start of a new year, Natalie arrives as the mysterious new girl at school, hoping to keep her head down and leave her past behind. As she slowly begins making friends and exploring new activities, she crosses paths with Ashley-the school's infamous bad girl. Confident, mischievous, and completely unbothered by rules, Ashley is known for her sharp teasing, intimidating smirks, and the kind of presence that makes everyone keep their distance. From the moment they meet, tension sparks between them. What starts as rude remarks and playful taunts slowly grows into something deeper-something neither of them expected. As their complicated bond forms, both girls are forced to confront the shadows of their pasts while new dangers begin to emerge around them. But, secrets don't stay buried for long, and in a place where trust is fragile and pasts refuse to stay in the past, Natalie and Ashley are forced to face a truth neither of them wanted.

*under construction, recent name change (Jenna and Lib is the same person)* '"Hollie, when I first saw you, I thought of you as a rabbit. A quiet aspect of nature that eats grass," Jayce says, "You see a rabbit all the damn time because they're everywhere. But whenever you see one, you can't help but say 'bunny!' because it's even adorable when they try to be threatening." "It's Lee," I answer, and turn to go find Jenna.' Hollie intends to keep her senior year of highschool as lowkey as possible. She decides that she'll avoid all unnecessary drama and work hard on her grades--afterall, she needs to get into a good college. Her plan is disturbed by the private school transfer student who goes by Jayce. Jayce was expelled from his private school after getting caught smoking weed in the bathroom. This is the exact opposite type of energy that Hollie needs in her life. But maybe she can make an exception. 'I move a little so I don't get hit by a mass of anger and all things bad and evil that comes to a physical shape called Jayce. Markus has stood up by now, glaring at him, though he has a little fear in his eye. I feel that this is how everyone feels when they look at Jayce--angry, but afraid.'
