Russell Wood was always considered successful. He was the head of the finance department at Quentin Industries, he owned his own home, made over $100k a year, and he had a wonderful wife and son.... and then his son died. Then he died.

Now Russell is considered to be an alcoholic bum. His wife left him, he lost his job and his house. He lost everything.

Matthew Carter used to be his best friend. Best friends since kindergarten. He was excited to be the best man at his wedding. He had his mind blown when he heard he was going to be an uncle.

When his nephew died, he was crushed. Then he saw his best friend, and was devastated.
