Every year, the earth rotates 365 times. Except for one year every 4 years. That year, the earth rotates 366 times. This phenomenon creates am extra day that year in February. The year is then dubbed the "Leap Year". And everyone thinks it's a regular day. 

But it's not. 

On that specific day in February, the whole world pauses for the entire day. Except for the humans born in February. Once you turn 13, you are unpaused on this day and get to see what the world really is,  what the truth is.  

Lauren Conrad gets the chance to do just that. But what her and her new friends find surprises everyone; and threatens the world's very existence.
