It's 2016 and the whole of New York is occupied by the creatures of the night: vampires and werewolves. However, there is hope for the inhabitants of the big city because a vampire-hunting hero finds the creatures and kills them before they kill anyone.
When someone is in danger or discovers a vampire, New Yorkers send messages to Dylan Hunter. Although he hides his real identity, he is the best vampire hunter without actually caring about the victims, but only killing the vampires until he meets Blair.
When Dylan finds out where the most powerful vampire, Charles Bass, is hiding and that he is going to seduce the most beloved fashion designer, Blair Waldorf, Dylan tries to make Blair stay away from Charles and even reveals his true identity, the Brooklyn resident Daniel Humphrey.
Daniel decides to hurry up and attacks Chuck, who manages to seriously injure Dan before he disappears. With the utmost power, Dan tells Blair to stay away from him now because things will change, but she decides to save him.
