The Moons Reflection on the Water - a Wolfstar Fanfic

The full story. From first year to seventh, all the way up until the meeting in the shrieking shack. And then probably beyond. Because I cant quite deal with their deaths.

When a young, quite frankly intimidated Remus Lupin stepped foot onto that Hogwarts train, fresh off of platform nine and three quarters, scars stretched out across the backs of his hands, he did not expect to sit himself in with a crowd consisting of the likes of James Potter, Peter Pettigrew and the ever up-to-no-good Sirius Black.

"You do know this means we're friends for life, right?" Sirius grinned from behind the tendrils of, much like his name, jet black hair, that were constantly falling infront of his eyes. He'd pushed them away several times in the span of time Remus had been looking at him.

The kid, the one with the equally as dark hair and thick glasses laughed, "Im fine with that.". Sirius smiled, nodding in agreement with James, "You three seem cool. You especially." He mused and gestured to Remus.

"A- What about me exactly screams cool?" he scoffed, was this just some crude joke? Remus really hoped he hadn't just sat with a collection of people who were going to tease him for the entire-

"Your scars."

Remus' thought track was cut off and he frowned. "What-" But before he could finish he was cut off again.

"You're covered in scars. That's pretty bad-ass dude." He shrugged and Remus actually managed a smile, one that caused his cheeks to flare up, the scars on his cheeks white against the pink hue. Perhaps this wouldnt be too bad..
