Waking up and not knowing where you are is the worst. It's even worse if there's a random dude with you. It's especially worse if they also don't know where they are.

Mary Fairview wakes up in a packed car, with a stranger in the front seat. Now, normally this would be pretty bad, but they're parked, and the guy doesn't seem to know where they are either, and seems not to know who she is. They find out that his name is Kyle, and they're father and adopted daughter. Headed to Gotham, New Jersey, they find a apartment, and Kyle gets a job. Now they just have to survive the craziness, and not die. Easier said than done.
