When it comes to living in a city run by the king of all demons, Illia Hawthorne and her devil companion Heine, were no strangers to keeping their heads down, working part time in a bar with interesting patrons. When she is requested by the leader of the known terrorist group: The Order, to assist in one ditch effort to destroy the tyrant, she reluctantly agrees; for price of course. With trouble brewing, a rocky relationship stirring, and Heine's past resurfacing, will they even be able to reap any rewards?
this is a fan fiction based off the Devil may cry series. I manage to tie in the reboot with the main games and comic lore. I don't own anything that is based in the DMC or Bayonetta franchise. I do, however, own rights to original characters.

Will she allow herself also to heal through helping him and in turn, perhaps finding love in one another? Nero wasn't expecting Kyrie to break things off suddenly, after years of being together. This left Nero with a lot of frustration and self criticism, writing himself off of dating. Period. Opting to focus on his career as a demon hunter instead, he convinces himself into thinking he doesn't need that sort of distraction.
