The mantis are strong, cold, ruthless and above all, they never fall in love. This is how a mantis should be, but above all. Only perdition awaits those who dare to break the rules and Orchid knows it very well. So she hates that knight with penetrating gaze and silent presence. In this AU, although the vessels do not have gender, they usually feel identified with one gender or another (There are some who never manage to decide whether they want to be male or female). The Knight feels identified with the male gender and the other insects also identify him as a male because of his body language. The knight in this story is named Hollow The Hollow knight is called Big There are Five kingdoms: Hallownest Hearth (This include City of Tears, Crystal Peak, Resting Lands, Ancient basin and Forgotten Crossroads) ruled by Big. The Hive ruled by Vespa's daughter Deepnest ruled by Hornet Green lands (This include Queen's gardens, Green Path and Fog Canyon) Ruled by Clare, White Lady's daughter Fungal Wastes ruled by Mantis Lords. The Fall of Hallownest
This novel depicts the full story of Hollow Knight in the perspectives of 5 different characters, which are represented in 5 long chapters. Many things in the Hollow Knight lore are very unclear, so we had to fictionalize some things. Please dont get mad because some events appear that are not 100% confirmed to be accurate. Im not Team Cherry. I dont have the lore bible. I dont work at ICE anymore. This isn't your typical fan fiction where everyone... ya know... does the nasty. This is a (mostly) lore accurate depiction of the Hollow Knight story (I hope. Could be dead-ass wrong tho). Path of the Blade
As Cornifer met a warrior inside of the caverns, she changed the way he viewed his life as a whole. Later, in a more propitious moment in their lives, they meet again and decide to learn to know each other and share precious moments together. But caverns became more and more dangerous, as kingdoms were collapsing on themselves and the mindless bugs were escaping in the wilderness. They will have to be more cautious than ever if they want to keep living ; perhaps, even, team up with unknown and exciting wanderers such as warriors, hunters, pilgrims and cartographers to get their way out of the danger lurking in the dark. The characters Cornifer and Iselda (and the one appearing in the eleventh chapter) belong to Team Cherry and are from the game : Hollow Knight. The character "Shakra" belongs to the (non yet existant) game : Hollow Knight Silksong by Team Cherry, as well. The rest are originals and are not appearing in the original products. !!
