Draco stumbled into the house and forced a smile as Elara rushes toward him, her tattered dress bouncing with her tiny toddler steps.
The twins, Leo and Mabel smile at him from where they hold the newest addition to the family, Carter.
"Daddy! Daddy! Did you bring some jelly beans for us?" Elara asks, her dirty blonde hair sticking to her forehead.
Draco's smile saddens and lifts her up. "No, my little princess."
Elara bites her lip and her big blue eyes water. "Oh... daddy..."
